The Society’s newsletter will be issued four times a year and distributed via the McMaster, CEBM (Oxford), and EBHC email lists. The newsletter will contain the news, tips, and teaching materials and cover the global interests of the Society. We will also be accepting some longer articles, and over the longer term aim to have a Society journal.
The newsletter will initially be coordinate by the CLARITY group at McMaster and the Centre for Evidence-Based Medicine in Oxford, but we hope to expand that over the next few years. The newsletter will be distributed free.
If you have contributions for future issues, or things you would like to see then please feel free to contact:
The Editors: Paul Glasziou (pglaszio@bond.edu.au) or Gordon Guyatt (guyatt@mcmaster.ca) or
The Section Editors:
Research & Reviews: Jose Emparanza (Spain) - jemparan@chdo.osakidetza.net
Teaching Tips: Kameshwar Prasad (India) - drkameshwarprasad@yahoo.co.in
Regional Reports: Ken Kuo (Taiwan) - KENNANK@aol.com
Resource Reviews: Lubna Al-Ansary (Saudia Arabia) - lansary@yahoo.com

ReplyDeleteOur skin---when toxins build up and cannot release through the intestines and lungs, they then seek an outlet through the skin, ie. as acne, rashes, psoriasis, etc. From an Acupuncture point of view, we would address skin issues by treating intestine or lung points, since together all three are eliminatory organs. If the body is not hydrated enough or ingests too many acidic foods, ie sugar and red meat, then the skin becomes dry-- as a reflection of overheated digestion in the stomach.
